Welcome to Higher Thoughts, where your hair experience goes beyond the ordinary. I believe in offering a transformative journey that nurtures not just your appearance, but your mind, body, and soul. Here, your haircut, color, and styling become an act of self-love and healing, helping you reconnect with your true essence.
I’m Sonia, the owner and lead stylist at Higher Thoughts, and I’ve been a licensed stylist since 2008. Over the years, my passion for hair has led me to specialize in coloring techniques, hair extensions, textured hair, and even styling for film in Manitoba. But my journey didn’t stop there—my connection to the deeper, esoteric aspects of life has been a guiding force.
Since childhood, I’ve been drawn to the mystical and sacred, always crafting potions from nature and exploring the hidden meanings of the world. This fascination with esoterics has inspired me to study various healing modalities, including Plant Medicine, Esoteric Acupressure, Sound Healing, Gua Sha, Cupping, Angel Magick, and Integrated Energy Therapy®️ (IET). It was through IET that I discovered my deepest calling, eventually becoming certified to teach this transformative healing technique.

The Sistar Slumber Party is a 3-day, 2-night gathering for women who crave meaningful connection and beauty rooted in ritual. Designed for birthdays, bridal parties, or soul-nourishing getaways, this offering blends deep restoration with joyful sisterhood — under the soft glow of candles, moonlight, and laughter.

This is where the magic unfolds. I arrive to guide your group through a day of beauty, healing, and connection, all crafted with intuitive flow and your group’s intentions in heart.
You can expect a combination of:
- Guided Meditation & Sound Bath – to ground your energy and open your heart
- Sacred Fire Ceremony – to release, renew, and anchor your prayers into the elements
- Custom Hair Potion – a ritual blend prepared for each sister, infused with intention and touch
- Mystical Additions – scrying, tea leaf readings, oomancy (egg divination), oracle cards, candle magic whatever your hearts desire
- Optional Add-Ons: Sacred Haircut or Lotus Ritual — for those ready to mark transformation through ceremony
Each Sistar Slumber Party is unique, attuned to the season, the moon, and the spirit of your gathering.

Integration + Departure
The final morning is yours. Sleep in, journal, share tea by the lake, or walk along the shoreline before returning home — nourished, clear, and deeply connected to your sisters and your self.
